1. What Information Do We Collect?
Personal information you disclose to us. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us. The personal information we collect may include names and email addresses. We do not process sensitive information.
All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
Information automatically collected. Some information, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics, is collected automatically when you visit our Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, and other technical information. This is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for internal analytics and reporting.
The information we collect includes log and usage data (service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect) and location data (such as information about your device’s location, which can be precise or imprecise, depending on device settings). You can opt out of location collection by disabling your device’s Location setting, though this may affect certain features.
Information collected from other sources. We may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, affiliate programs, data providers, and other third parties, for purposes of targeted advertising and event promotion. This includes mailing addresses, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, intent data, IP addresses, social media profiles, and custom profiles.
2. How Do We Process Your Information?
We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including: to deliver and facilitate delivery of services to you; to respond to your inquiries and offer support; to send administrative information about our products, services, and changes to our terms and policies; to fulfill and manage orders, payments, returns, and exchanges; to enable user-to-user communications where offered; to request feedback about your use of our Services; to send marketing and promotional communications in accordance with your preferences (you can opt out at any time); to deliver targeted advertising tailored to your interests; to protect our Services, including fraud monitoring and prevention; to identify usage trends so we can improve our Services; to determine the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns; and, where necessary, to save or protect an individual’s vital interest.
3. What Legal Bases Do We Rely On to Process Your Information?
We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason to do so under applicable law — with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services or fulfill contractual obligations, to protect your rights, or to fulfill our legitimate business interests.
If you are located in the EU or UK, the GDPR and UK GDPR require us to explain the legal bases we rely on: consent (which you can withdraw at any time); performance of a contract; legitimate interests (for example, sending information about offers, developing relevant advertising, analyzing and improving our Services, supporting marketing, diagnosing problems and preventing fraud, and understanding how users use our products); legal obligations (such as cooperating with law enforcement or defending our legal rights); and vital interests (protecting the safety of any person).
If you are located in Canada, we may process your information with your express or implied consent, which you can withdraw at any time, or in certain exceptional cases permitted by applicable law (for example, fraud detection and prevention, business transactions, insurance claims, identifying deceased persons, investigating a breach of an agreement, complying with a subpoena or court order, or where the information is publicly available).
4. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?
We may need to share your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
5. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. Specific information about how we use such technologies is set out in our Cookie Policy.
6. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. No purpose in this notice requires us to keep your personal information for longer than one year. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we delete or anonymize it, or, where that isn’t possible, securely store and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
7. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk; you should only access the Services within a secure environment.
8. Do We Collect Information From Minors?
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to their use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users under 18 has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to delete such data. Contact us at vmamidi@whiteswansecurity.com if you become aware of any such data.

If you are located in the EEA or UK and believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority. If you are located in Switzerland, you may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Withdrawing your consent: where we rely on your consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time by contacting us; this will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Opting out of marketing communications: you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails or by contacting us. We may still send you service-related messages necessary for the administration of your account.
Cookies: most browsers accept cookies by default; you can usually set your browser to remove or reject them, though this may affect certain features. To opt out of interest-based advertising, visit aboutads.info/choices.
10. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, so we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will inform you in a revised version of this notice.
